DREAMGATE

In Dream Gate, you inherit a sprawling, crumbling mansion from a mysterious uncle who vanished years ago.  Your uncle's spirit lingers, bound within, weill you finish his work in unlocking the Dream Gate, a forbidden threshold that merges dreams and nightmares with reality - or will you cleanse the house of your Uncle's evil?

To break the curse, you must explore haunted rooms, each holding one of the Seven Deadly Sins. Every room is locked by a key hidden deep within the mansion's eerie corners, guarded by ghosts that represent each sin. As you unravel twisted family secrets and confront your worst fears, you inch ever closer to madness— will you conquer these dark forces or will you be dragged you into a world of nightmares.

The mansion resides in the island town of Aldon. A strange town that falls under long periods of darkness and is steeped in hidden and ancient eldritch history. History you will uncover as you explore the lakes of ruins .

Some things only happen at certain times or after other things have happened.
Hint: In the forest, follow the ribbons back home.
Warning: Grue's are very real and if you are not careful, you might be eaten.

Note from the Author:
This is one of the first games where I really made use of sound and sound effects, I had a lot of fun with it. I think you'll like interface too! It's a much cleaner, minimalist style and easy to use. 
Also, this  is a demo, it is an early work. Every effort has been made to track and remove bugs. I sure would appreciate it if you drop bugs in the comments so I can trace 'em down.
